3"/50 Mk 7 Deck Gun Set

As the American Fleet entered WW2, the standard deck gun for the US Submarine was the 3"/50 Wet mount. Most of the subs completed before Pearl Harbor carried the Mk7  mount. This gun was the standard gun issued to the pre-Gato classes as well as a few of the new Gato units as they entered the war, and gun can be mounted on the Revell GATO class submarine right out of the box, as several boats retained these guns while the fairwaters were reduced due to a shortage of suitable 3", 4" and 5" guns. The gun was finally phased out mid war although it is possible some of older boats used for training in the Atlantic retained these guns until their demise in 1945.
